Impressive numbers, what did your car manage on the pre-remap Dyno run?

Over 50bhp extra & fair bit more torque as well, I think a cat less down pipe brings even more gains
Impressive stuff :driving:

I will have to get some decent tyres next. The run flats dont really cut it with the extra horse power. Are the ps 4s a good choice?

Good numbers; did they comment on whether the torque drop off is fuel or air flow limited - would be interesting to see the AFR graph.

I've just had Celtic Tuning remap on my 2.0i, they state 280 bhp, previously they did 295 bhp , however according to them they have backed it off a bit as they have seen some N20B20 engines let go at and around the 300 bhp mark.

With fuel injection and turbo charging under ECU control making power isn't the primary problem, getting rid of the heat and or coping with extended combustion pressures prove limiting.

Maybe that's why BMW only go as far as 240 bhp!

In a parallel universe we suffered from poor reliability on a Mercedes based engine that was asked to produce more power than was wise...engines struggled to make 1000 hours before heads cracked due to thermo dynamic stress.

Yep I will not be holding full throttle over long periods of time. No track days planned . Here is an interesting artical of potential weakness of the N20 engine.

And wise.
I wonder how many other remapped owners do the same?
