Looks good.
I wonder what it looks like next to a Valencia Orange Z.

You were right indeed . Received the black grills today and fitted, pleased with the look and like you said can always switch them back. The alloys are the finishing peice, and am still on the fence regarding colour to finish this offBusterboo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 12:35 am1 You see, I told you I was right about the colour. It's really good. Thanks guys! Just the following remaining now
Black BMW Front Grills - On the way
Eibach Springs - Awaiting fitment
Alloy refurb and recolour to Anthracite Gloss
2 The black grills may be a step too far, but you can always change 'em back, of course.
3 Springs. Enjoy.
4 Now the alloys are refurbed, if the Anthracite Gloss doesn't work, a colour change won't cost much.
5 And you could match the mirrors to the wheels.
Seeing the gloss black mirrors and grills I am now perhaps thinking a anthracite gloss colour would be to light and look mis-matched. At the same time I am worried that black is to dark for the 326m alloy and would lose detail and look like one giant black blob....
Seeing the car in its current form what colour would you go for on the alloys?
Thanks

As you have the silver side repeaters I think the wheels compliment those and will look fine in a lighter colour, maybe a flash chrome finish?

Would you consider this colour even if you had red leather seats ?

I agree with sammyz. Perhaps a lighter silver than Anthracite Gloss would do the job.
It would also look as if you weren't trying too hard.

Update:
Unfortunately the passenger side mirror is peeling quite noticeably...... the drivers side is starting to bubble. I have read before that the Zs mirrors are difficult to wrap and stay wrapped online before. Either way I have contacted the company who wrapped who should sort it all out
On a more positive front:
Springs fitted and the car now sits a touch lower at the front.
Grills fitted.
The car is booked in with BMW for tommorow for the battery recall work, plus an extra service while its there. Will book it back in the wrapping center after.
Will update with pics again soon

Peeling mirrors ...
Good news. The silver mirror housings are one of the distinguishing features of the 36iS. So, wrapping them was a mistake in the first place that's easily corrected now.

The Vehicle Wrapping center have booked me back in and will sort the mirrors no problem
On another note ordered some aftermarket Gunmetal Grey alloys, and Michelin P4S Tyres,
Once the alloys arrive the look should be complete for the car

Yes, because there's never 'just one more thing' to add, is there?
Full credit if you resist temptation and stop there, though...
