"lh" = left hand?
If so, I'm confused, because the paddles on the DCT are symmetrical in function, aren't they? (In other words, right & left push are change down and right & left pull are change up.) Unlike Porsche PDK, for example, where the left paddle is only for down and the right is only for up.
Accordingly, how are the blips more noticeable when the "lh" paddle is used on the 35iS?

Paddles on the E89 from 2013 onwards I think it is are left pull for downshifts, right pull for upshifts. You cannot push them. Ronk's car is a 2016 car.Busterboo wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2017 11:00 pm"lh" = left hand?

You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

The flippers are marked - (lh) & + (rh) on my current car.
From memory here, my previous 2010 E89 Auto had flippers that were indeed symmetrical - the smaller top portion left and right side (thumb push ) was down the box while the bigger lower half (finger pull ) was up the box..
That's as I recall !

Thanks, both. I didn't know.
Having used the Tiptronic 2 with up-&-down-on-both-sides buttons & then with L-down/R-up paddles for five years, I'm surprised how well the 2110-2013 DCT symmetrical paddles work.
And they blip on both sides, of course.
