Standard tips, just taken off and polished.
They are tight to come off and may need a bit of a tap with a rubber mallet.

Did you manage to get them off without lifting the car in the air? I am based in Glasgow and would love to get this done.Nictrix wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2017 11:40 amStandard tips, just taken off and polished.

Yes. They are on very tight as the spring clips that hold them on seem to rust/bond onto the exhaust but a few taps in the right places with a rubber mallet and a bit of effort and they will wiggle off. They just push back on and then can be turned to line up properly.Amg01 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:36 pmDid you manage to get them off without lifting the car in the air? Finally got round to doing this myself using Lindsay and Sons. They werent great when I got the car over 3 years ago and despite many attempts I never got them looking any better. These are the before photos, terrible as you can seeNictrix wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2017 8:49 pmIt was a place next to the Glasgow Chromers in Barfillan Drive, Craigtonso not a huge distance from yourself. Its called Lindsay & sons.Northotheborder wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2017 8:18 pm They look fantastic! Could I ask who did them and what was the cost? (I'm over in Hamilton) make mine look really shabby
They cost £40 for the pair.
Great effort, well worth the hard work they've come up a treat Oh how I wish the one's on the 35is weren't welded on. Mine look dreadful, really let the car down
Thanks, they make such a difference now they are done, I just wish I had done it years ago. I just assumed you couldn't get them off, welded on like he 35is. Shame you can't do the same with yours
Pull off or they may need a tap with something to get them moving
The tips from your car are slightly different from the tips on our 23i.Amg01 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 6:59 pmFinally got round to doing this myself using Lindsay and Sons. Before
I wasn't expecting much, tbh, not perfect by any stetch but I am delighted with how they have came out, but put a couple of coats of Autosol before putting them on the car.
After
On the car, showing off my recently refurbished alloys
Not all good news, I have noticed the water leak in the boot, so work to do there
