I have now additionally ordered a full set of Michelin PS4 tyres to go with the new alloys.
My mechanic is going to take a look at the front shock for a final conclusive look when installing the above.
The Window and Door pin repair I have been quoted £110 for both.
If it's not too late try changing to the Michelin PS4S. They are the UHP version.

I've recently changed to them from PSS and they are seriously impressive for grip. I'm giving it full beans in 3rd with no traction control lights! In a non-tuned car you could probably get complete traction in second gear.
Sorry typo above. They are the PS4S :))). Sounds great :)

Thanks!

Real progress. Good to hear.

And you'll enjoy the Michelins.

I had one leaky shock and within 6 months, 2 were gone completely and another leaking. 35is too. I dumped the adaptive suspension and dropped 1600 quid for KW3 Coilovers with the emulator to disable the adaptive suspension. Best decision ever. Would have been twice that to get the OEM versions an I get to customise the ride to how I want.

I see the adaptive suspension on these cars becoming like the air ride on AMG Mercs. People will just start chopping it out due to the expense.

I do like the adaptive ride but if I was faced with a £3k for a full overhaul of the shocks then I'd be looking elsewhere too. I really wouldn't own a 35i or 35is without warranty though, you need balls of steel to run a car like this out of your own pocket!
