roof operation

Post by b-m-boy » Thu Jun 22, 2017 12:30 pm

Hi guys,
Just bought my first Z4, its a 2011 35i auto (DSG) and I have 2 questions (for now anyway) firstly, when I unlock the car but keep the unlock button pressed it lowers the windows and roof, now the manual suggests that keeping hold of the lock button closes up and locks.
Is this normal or is it a malfunction?
Secondly, is there such a thing as a remote starting module available I can use without going down the Clifford etc route?

Thank you, and I look forward to the answers and fixed coming flooding in.......

I believe close function only works if you have the 'comfort pack' option
Valencia Orange 35is now gone but well remembered now Porsche Boxster GTS

Close. The room will go up if you have comfort access. The comfort pack is something different.

You have comfort access if you have keyless entry and start.
Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

Thanks Zed, is the keyless entry and start available as a retrofit?
