Rebellion Remap
I took my 35i to Rebellion Automotive in Funtington, West Sussex.
Nice team, they do remaps, chips and detailing.
As I quite enjoy polishing my car I just opted for a remap.
I already had downpipes, backboxes and a K&N replacment filter so was excited to see what they could get from it. They did tell me that a remap on a rolling road is always better then just adding a chip (even though these can give decent results too).
Ended up with 384.2BHP and 450lb ft of torque. Very happy with the way the car drives now, much more responsive and sounds fantastic too.

Hi, that's a decent increase with a smooth looking power curve
What sort of price was the remapping?

@stijohnny How is the car doing now a few months after the remap?
Worth the dosh?
Is the extra power 'that' noticeable?
Cheers

As it was only £350 for the remap I'd say yes it is worth the money. The downpipes were a big help i getting more power. I hardly ever use the extra power (especially on dark wet autumn days). Though it is a very noticeable increase in bhp/torque. Recently I was behind a Ferrari 348 heading onto a dual carriageway, I was about 100m behind him as he went onto the slip road and we were both doing 60-70. Suddenly he boots it and starts pulling away quickly, so I change down and floor it too and am back on his tail... Within a few more hundred meters I go past him (no other traffic on the road). I caught a quick glimpse of the speedo and thought shite, I didnt realise I was going that fast...i4gotagain wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 4:25 pm @stijohnny How is the car doing now a few months after the remap?

Am getting about 10% better fuel economy since the remap too.
One downside is that the suspension struggles to handle the extra power when under full load (not much of a problem in a straight line but still noticeable). It feels a bit like the chassis is ever so slightly detached from the wheels if that makes sense. So next I'll be upgrading any suspension bushes and putting on Eibachs to slightly lower and stiffen the car, along with a strut brace (please let me know if any of you have a recommendation here).

Really good info here OP! Did the remap make a difference on the "farts" during gear changes with DCT?

If I get to 6.5-7k and take my foot off the throttle it sounds like thunder claps from the exhaust - just amazing fun.TheColonel11 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 11:13 pm Really good info here OP! Did the remap make a difference on the "farts" during gear changes with DCT?
Though as I had the downpipes done at the same time as the remap its hard to tell, so I guess its a bit of both.
One noticeable difference is the turbo spool up. Driving off even at low revs and the turbos are already whistling.
