I dont doubt your experience in the field of investment in cars, and actually I dont care(how many cars you have or havent had over the years), but I do doubt you designing an engine for TVR and simultaniously opening topics whether a certain charge pipe piece is suitable for the z4 n54 or not (or where and if you can get a lightened flywheel for that matter).
The one level of expertise doesnt stroke at all with the other shown level in my book. The topics you open show a very very novice level of engineering knowledge/insight and wisdom.
Also if you can design your own performance engine, doing an engine swap is a piece of cake and you would have no trouble finding a shop you could instruct.
Face it, you're not a techie...

I assume you've contacted the manufacturers to establish whether they're unique?

Dr Valor1,
Please stop adding fuel to the fire, you have a really nice car in a great colour, you have said that BMW have provided you with the information that you requested so it is time to leave this thread alone.

The reason that you have attracted so many adverse and critical comments is because in the UK people do not like appreciate braggers, in almost every post you have made you have either put yourself up on a pedestal to be shot at, listed what you have done or what you own or implied that you are superior to the other Forum posters.

Best regards

Dave (In the Uk with red 3.0 E89 with extended off-white leather interior - unfortunately it is a non-turbo charged N52 with auto box and the wrong colour red. I can live with this as I generally prefer to use the Buggatti, Bentley and the Aston Martin) :!:

TBH Dave I'm finding the Mitty-ism somewhat entertaining. Don't discourage him!

Brilliant use of mitty-ism there! Hit the nail on the head.

I'm torn between:

whether it is unique so he's shut up because he's got the information he wanted.

Or

whether it isn't and he doesn't want to admit it.

and

giving zero f***s either way.
