Mirrors auto dip on reverse?

Post by sunnydays » Tue Jul 11, 2017 1:07 pm

Hi guys, just found out my 35is has this feature yet i dont know how to use it.

Presently only the left mirror dips, how do I activate it so both mirrors dip when reversing?

Thanks!

Only the passenger side dips when reverse is engaged, its referred to as the 'automatic curb monitor function' :D

Not that I'm aware of, moving the switch in the opposite direction just deactivates the dip altogether

I wish the E86 had that feature - my 2000 Seat Leon Cupra did!

Turns out the switch has to be on the driver side mirror to the right. Then reverse :)

I'm quite glad I can easily disable it. I have to reverse up a lane for 50m before going into my garage and its a pain when the mirror is pointing at the ground! :)

Thanks guys but already know that it has to be in driver position to work. Not the problem for me.
