Well I got the roll over hoops painted the same colour as the rest of the car. all fitted now I think they look better than the silver ones.

They look great with the new wind deflector as well.

They are much easier to remove than E85 ones. They are like a ball and socket, quite difficult to break. I greased mine when i painted and fitted, to make removal a doddle. Just used a really wide prying tool and wack it with the ball of your hand. Really simple compared to E85.

As Zed 5 says they come off quite easily. these are 2 replacement ones i got from eBay for a tenner (Bargain)
I just had to drill them for the wind deflector fixings. then a few coats of Jet Black paint then a few coats of lacquer. Flated them and then polished. only took a week. I am happy with the finish.
