Z4 - Cost to fit new springs ?

Post by DibbleCorse » Mon Jul 17, 2017 3:09 pm

Hi all

Have had a couple of quotes of between £350 and £400 to have someone replace all 4 springs (labour only and inc VAT) as I want to get either a set of Eibach or H&R's on there before getting some 19" staggered CSL reps such as the AXE CS Lites. They then also recommend a full 4 wheel alignment at c£100, so all in with the springs c£150 its a c£600-650 bill !!!!

Are those fitting costs reasonable, they seem high to me but it's been a while since I last had this done to a car.

Its a 3.0 Si Auto with the M Sport suspension if that matters...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dibs

PS I am a mechanical numpty so suggesting I do this myself is a no no .... :)

Your welcome to pop over to me in Basingstoke and we'll both do them, as for the alignment I've been using a place just outside Basingstoke £36 but they wont do camber adjustment.

Give me a message when you get your springs. :driving:

Depends if they are a like for like replacement. If they are it should make no difference.

Still getting to grips with the ramp. Finding the best angle and height to work at.
