A post in here got my appetite about upgrading of Z4 again! :D

This I have found on the web, fully loaded and not far to go and view:

http://usedcars.stephenjamesruxleybmw.c ... c=se_ce_re_

Fully loaded (bar no heated seats) ... Velancia Orange ...

I have a Z4 2010 23i DSB(not m sport) , with white nappa package, sat nav, 78k front rear parking sensors, folding mirrors, very good condition , FSH

Opinions :

What do you think of the Velancia Orange with the black roof? (I love my DSB and white leather combo and wonder what the Orange and pure traction interior compares?

I'm pretty useless at pushing a bargain ... would a trade in with my old Z4 worthwhile? How much can I beat down £22k with the dealer ? I can pay cash...

And how much could I trade my Z4 as a ball park?

Thank you !

PS Link does not work for some reason ...

That's a well-specced car, I'd say. Price seems reasonable for AUC and you'll get the 12 month warranty, which I've already used twice. I was also a cash buyer and they had no discount to offer, so I paid asking price.

I've seen VO in person, and I liked it. I thought it suits the E89, but it might not be to everyone's taste.

You could give this a go to get a ballpark estimate for your trade-in value until mrwilks gives his estimate  https://www.capconnect.co.uk/ConsumerVa ... WRTZ&New=1

Good value car IMO and if you like the colour whats not to like, I doubt that there is much room to move on their price (based on prices I was looking at a month ago), maybe 500 quid if you push but dont expect a generous trade in offer, they would likely sell yours on inside the trade but you should at least ask. Werobyouofyourcar.com isnt a bad place to get a lowball price for yours, so is a good starting point.
good luck
Keith

Thanks guys ha ha! Fired an enquiry off and to ask if heated seats can be retrofitted .. wife seems calm (dangerously ? :D ) and just said why do I need another one and colour she hates lol...

Just got to navigate round parents and in laws (I know I'm bloody 46 right ?) otherwise just find a DSB 35is to replace my DSB 23i so no one notices ...

VO is a great colour....

Compliments the lines of the E89....

Seems like a decent price considering that you get a comprehensive warranty, thats gotta be worth £1500....

Car looks great and well specced. I see it has the Comfort package. Does that not include heated seats?

I thought so too, but the pic where the heated seats buttons meant to be is blank....

I though it did too, but looking at my digital copy of the brochure for the LCI models (mid-2013 onwards), heated seats was a standalone option and didn't come standard on the iS.

What other 40k-mile, 35iSs are there on the market for £22k?

What's this car's competition?

Looks like a nice car. Love Valencia Orange on the e89 I don't think pictures do it justice. Remember seeing one at Sytner and it looked absolutely stunning.

I've searched and none at the age or mileage ... me thinks I might snap this up... hard sale with the missus though :-(

Assuming that is sarcasm used as wit as i don't recall ever giving anyone a trade in value :? but should the op only want to deal using his car as trade in then best advice would be to get a value off WBAC then add £500 & use that figure as his target to achieve .
After all its how BMW work out their trade in values most of the time :o except they only add £150
