E85/E86 Car Key Memory (CKM) Settings

Post by Half Colin » Wed Mar 07, 2012 7:11 pm

Having just sorted out the hardware & software necessary to connect my laptop to the car I thought I would list the Car Key Memory (CKM) settings that can be programmed into the car and or key(s).

The list shows the function and whether it's a Car, Key or Car & Key variable together with the available settings. Where there's a key option, up to 4 keys can be programmed individually. The factory default setting is highlighted in red.

I've just changed my clock to the 24hrs display and set 'Lock on drive off' so feeling quite pleased with myself.

Whilst I doubt if most people would want to do this themselves it does show what they can get programmed by the dealers.

NO - 55 pages of instructions - no kidding! I'm only half way through.
Stopped for coffee when I could achieve what I wanted to and haven't found the enthusiasm yet to carry on.

Think I might get that ordered on my lunch break

I've already got some software but it doesn't do the list stuff above - but does turn off the airbag light if you accidentally trip it when removing seats

You're welcome to come down - plug your car in and have a play. The only stipulation is you hit the upload key so whatever you do to your car is your responsibility not mine. :D

Offer is open to anyone else within striking distance of Leicester. :driving:

Would love to have the option "1 Touch Funct Turn Signal Flash (Car)3 x Flashing" turned on but I don't think this works on '03 models.
