Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me if I can change the M sports steering wheel on my 2006 2.0 lit Z4 for a multifunction one off a 53plate
X5 4.6is M Sport.
Thanks

You can swap the buttons easily enough to make yours Multifunction, but I'm not sure about fitting an X5 wheel.

Search here for the swap guide, common retrofit.

I know the question has been asked about a 3 series wheel recently and it wasn't possible for a number of reasons. As Andy said adding the buttons has been done a fair few times and IMO the best option! Although the kits can be expensive. For a 2006 car I think you might need some wiring too.

If you can and do this I may be interested in your M wheel... assuming it's similar to the one on the real M!

First thing I'd do is find a forum pertaining to the particular model of car you own

Back on topic...picked up my steering wheel audio retrofit kit yesterday - got a bit off the price (Joe at Sopers!); £180 which I was pretty happy with.

Just need to find time this weekend to fit it...
