Sorry to dredge up an old thread but I thought it better than starting a new one. Can someone please confirm that the bumper with part number 51113448818 does not include holes for the ugly US-spec reflectors?

That's correct, no reflector holes. It does have washer jet holes though but they all do.

I'm actually looking at buying a Silbergrau facelift 3.0si and doing the swap on that (with a rear bumper and quad exhaust also).

One other question: when you buy new does the bumper come in a box? Just wondering if it might be cheaper for me to get the bumper sent from the UK rather than buying locally. Haven't yet got a quote from a local dealer but imagine it will be a shocking price...

Yes it comes in a box, call Sopers in Lincoln and quote the z4 forum for the best price.

Another resurrection of this thread :)

I took my bumper off today to have a look at fixing the fangs, and found that the whack which caused the damage also seems to have broken the mounting on the drivers side! The two points on the wheel arch under tray have come clean off, and there's a piece missing on the main under tray around where it fixes on the right side :(

So, did anybody ever get a price for the wheel arch under tray #51718046084 I think? I think I can live with the main under tray, as it still has 2 points where it's attached, although I might try and patch it up.

Thanks.

Fitting a Z4M bumper E85 E86

Post by russ67 » Sun Jun 12, 2016 9:18 pm

Sorry to dig this back up, I'm almost at the stage of finally sorting the M bumper I bought in January

How did people who didn't fit the under tray get on? What's the best (not expensive) way to tackle this?

Thanks
