Hi all,
Recently got my hands on a 2003 2.5i and enjoying it thoroughly after upgrading from a Z3. However, there are a few issues with the car (which I will detail in a newbie post) and the most concerning to me is the sound I hear when accelerating during 2nd and 3rd. I hear a knock sometimes and feel a slight grinding/vibration in the gear stick. Although I'm not completely clueless when it comes to cars, I need some knowledge when it comes to such things like this so if anyone has an idea what this could be, let me know, cheers!

Have a Z3, Recently got a 2.5 Z4. Overall very happy but experiencing similar to above under hard acceleration goes through a brief period of vibration almost grinding. Definately coming from the front, if it was front wheel drive would suspected the driveshafts?
