car won't start!!!
Battery went flat a few days ago. Changed it today and all the electrics work but the car won't start. It just clicks when I turn the key.
I appear to have put it back correctly. Theres not much to go wrong. Pos on pos and neg on neg...
Any ideas?

Re: car won't start!!!
Could be a stuck starter motor mate, I know a few people have had that issue.
Maybe try bumping it?
I recently changed my battery and after the airbag light won't go off, let me know if you gave this issue as well.
Cheers

Re: car won't start!!!
No chance of a bump start as it's on my drive which has quite a steep incline.
the battery itself works fine as everything lights up.
Starter motor appears to be the main suspect, although seems odd that it was fine up until my old battery gave up the ghost.

Bumping this for future reference if anyone else has the same issue.
replaced the starter motor (easy job, took an hour) and it works perfect now.

Starter motor seems to be a common failure on these cars now.

Re: car won't start!!!
Same happened to me last week. I tapped the starter, heard the drive snap back and then all I got was the solenoid clicking. £90 at Eurocarparts and an hour of my time on Monday.
