Looking at worst case scenario on my x3 brake light warning lights...

If getting the module repaired can it be removed with out having to mess with the hydraulics connected to the ABS pump?
I would not tackle this one myself if it involves bleeding of abs system.( after research seems like I need to send in both parts)
I have the common fault codes 5DF0 and 5DF1
After phoning bmw and and indy they will be charging £80/£50 to confirm what I already know.
Could those fault codes still be a abs sensor??
Will the main dealer diagnostic show up any more than those 2 fault codes? I doubt it.
I think I will get the module/pump to ECUtesting.

Re: ABS module removal question?
My understanding is you need to disconnect the hydraulics, so it will need bleeding.

Re: ABS module removal question?
I have taken the whole assembly out not too bad bit messy.
I am hoping that a pressure bleeder will get me bled enough to get car to bmw indy for a proper bleed..I hear software is needed??
