Hi all.
Managed to get HID conversion kit for a very good price so could really do with some help with how to fit, ideally with pics.
The car is a 2005 3.0i e85 and is my daily driver,I work a lot of night shifts so have been using the force to guide me in the dark so far.
This is the kit I have.
Hope the pics work,(someone could point me to the guide to this also )
Also if someone who as done this could talk me through it before its attempted that would be great,PM me and I will give you my number.
I am a novice at these things but enjoy giving it a go.
Is there anything else I need to know ie mot rules ?
Thanks Geoff.

HID conversion how to and help.
Regarding the MOT (legality in general) - basically it isn't. I have headlamp washers and have passed 2 MOTs - they can't dismantle so I believe have to give benefit of doubt. I carry spare blubs and burners as these could be swapped at the roadside if required.
You'll find it a lot easier to install with the headlamps off the car - not that big a job to be honest and much easier than working in the wheel well. Few bolts top and bottom and the clips at the side then three bolts for each headlamp.
I have slim ballast kits taped to the inside of each headlight so no cutting required and have had no issues - yours will probably fit but take your time to figure it out and cable manage inside.
