side mirror stuck in up position
ok, so weirdest thing happened. the last 2 times i have gone to put the wing mirror down using the button, both of them went down! so now i'm convinced its not a software issue, i'm sure its 100% mechanical. when the pass one went down, there was a loud clicking sound both times as if it was forcing itself to unlatch from its "locked" position. i will take it apart at some point to inspect when i have some time although i'm hoping it will slowly fix itself lol as it is doing currently.
anyone else seen this with their car??

It happened again! Again with the same loud click before it rotated down.
I'm thinking something has shrunk in the mechanism due to the cold.....
Anyone else experienced anything similar ?

100% not coding as you cant code the wing mirrors independently, must be mechanism

side mirror stuck in up position
I may need help. im having the same issue since i purcahsed the car a year ago. didnt bother with it because its on the driver side that it gets stuck, so i just manually do it after the motor stops. anyone got around to finding out what causes this? should i spear the swivel part with WD40? to displace some grime and dirt?
If i manually fold the mirror down WHILE the motor is running, the mirror umm.. rotates down more than it should looks absolutely funny but its easy to manually recover.
Any help is greatly appreciated
