The z4 was balanced for LHD, so driver's weight would balance it. RHD doesn't help with the fuel tank etc.
I've read posts about various BMW's being balanced for LHD before, but never seen any firm evidence it's true?

AS far as I know there are no differences in any of the suspension parts side-to-side, the springs, pads and shocks etc are the same L/R. Also TIS specifies adding EVEN weights to both front seats and a full tank for wheel alignment. I wonder if the 'being balanced for LHD' thing is an urban myth? :)
