It is a spring of some sort, that let's the cupholder come out when pressed. Without this spring in, you have to manually pull the cupholder out as the press action doesn't work.
Any ideas?

Cupholder fell apart.
Went to fit my cupholder onto a Facelift air vent and this bit fell out. Can't figure out where it goes now.
It is a spring of some sort, that let's the cupholder come out when pressed. Without this spring in, you have to manually pull the cupholder out as the press action doesn't work.
