Raymond is right we are all held hostage by modern car electrics - do you remember the days when the biggest worry was bodywork - would it make 60K before it rusted to nothing :rofl:
Agreed - time to go to BMW or a specialist, pay up and get it diagnosed. In the long run it's better to pay for diagnostics even if you take it elsewhere than someone just pulling bits out at cost to you

haha yeah its turned into a cluster headache lol :headbang:
What I meant to say was that because of the unknown electrical fault the car for some reason doesnt recognize the diagnostics so na matter where I take it, its gonna be the same situation of finding the fault through first principles. This place is called German Auto service they specialize in german cars bmw merc etc.

Im gonna remove the roof and check the connections from motor to ecu and if that didnt solve the issue i guess BMW it is :cry: :cry:

That's not strictly true, somehow the BMW dealer gets deeper into the car's diagnostics then my indy (bmw specialist) or myself can.
