SPARE KEY

Post by Barryprman » Wed Mar 08, 2017 1:59 pm

Just got back from seeing Ben at http://www.bmkeys.com who sorted me out with a Bentley Style flip key, matched and working within ten minutes. Genuine guy who was a pleasure to deal with. I only had one key when I purchased the car a couple of weeks ago and thanks to this forum that little headache is resolved. If any forum members in London or the south east are having issues then Ben is the man.

Likewise, how much and do you have a pic of the key? Annoys me that the Zed key is the only vehicle key on my bunch that doesn't fold away.

You need to take the car in but only takes ten minutes to do and is basically a slip road from the A13, so within a short hop from the M25 (Essex side). I drove up from Canterbury this morning. Took 65 mins to get there and was back on the road in 10 mins. The BMW diamond style was £60 and the Bentley flip style (badged as BMW) WAS £70.

Is there a place in the U.S. which offers these types of keys?

Should be mate, have a search around.
Also be worth trying other forums. Like, bimmerfest, e46, etc. I'm sure it's a common mod as many share the old diamond style key shape.
