Hi All
My EML warning light came on, and after investigating I found the rubber boot (convoluted) connected to the Air mass meter had split,
repaired this today,EML light is still on .Is there a reset procedure to extinguish this dreaded warning light, if so how is this done.
Regards Bob

If had the same problem, & it seems to be a common thing as the rubber perishes and sucks in too much air hence the EML light comes on as she's a touch lean.
You've two choices, drop your local garage a tenner to clear the code or buy a super duper cheap OBD reader off eBay, I bought a Maxscan or Maxiscan for £10.50 delivered, only does engine management codes but worth having in the garage as a spare if ever needed.
I had a Punto which I bought with faults that when I bought the OBD reader, must have used it 10 times clearing codes on that darned Punto, worth every penny!
