Locked out of trunk

Post by PeteinCt » Fri Mar 24, 2017 3:25 am

I had several bags in my trunk and when taking them out is it possible I hit a switch or something? I get the single that my top is not closed all the way and neither my key fob or the button on the door well will open the trunk.
The roof was never opened, I merely took the things out of the trunk and after closing it got in the car and got this single. Now the windows are down and I can't close them because the car thinks I have the roof open. And I can't get into the trunk as it will not allow me to open it.
How do I bypass this so I can open the trunk and close the windows?
The car is a 2009 Z-4

Single? You mean 'signal'? An audible sound when you try to press window/roof switches?
Try disconnecting battery for 30 minutes, reconnecting then try again.
You can't open the boot even via the keylock? (Key in the bootlock and turn)
Edit. Ok realised you posted in the wrong section. You need to post this in E89 forum. E89 doesnt have a bootlock.
