Grom Bluetooth issue

Post by Rufus59 » Thu Apr 06, 2017 5:14 pm

Hello all

Looking for some feedback from other grom Bluetooth Grom-BT3 owners.

I have the navigation and when streaming Bluetooth I can't get off the "now playing" screen for more than 2-3 seconds. This includes trying to open the nav screen, get into the settings menu or the fuel computer. Is this just how it is meant to work? This renders the navigation completely useless whilst streaming Bluetooth music as it only stays on screen for a split second!

Thanks

I have the USB3 and it doesn't do that so I'd hope the BT shouldn't either.

Grom Bluetooth issue

Evening,

I have the USB3 with the Bluetooth dongle for audio steaming (The OEM Bluetooth looks after phone calls) - No problem with screen function either.

Thanks. Have emailed grom so hoping my decision to chose them based on after sales support was a good one! Weirdly if I make and cancel a call via the BMW Bluetooth, it temporarily fixes the problem.

It will be going back if I can't sort it, which will be a real shame.

Just had an email back from the guys at grom describing a fix for this issue. I'll give it a go later on and post the results.

Rufus59 / Lucifer, did you ever resolve the issue with getting off the “now playing” screen?
