Hi does anyone have a link or guide as to how to change the regulator cable for my drivers side window?
There's a 13 minute video on YouTube which is ok. Now I've taken the membrane off, the video isn't great in terms of what to do next and how to put it all back together.
I've seen a few mention there's a couple of very good how to guides but can't find them anywhere?

I replaced just the cable and used a YouTube video for reference.
You will need to drill some rivets out and replace with nuts and bolts. I found some ideal ones from screwfix. Will see if I can find the details for you.

Thanks srhutch! Got the m6 nuts and bolts. Just read your link and realised the window is only hal way down and I've removed the airbag and panel!
Thankfully didn't take the membrane off as I'm still waiting for the cable in the post. I'll reattach the airbag then battery and lower it all the way.
How good is the membrane glue? Reason I'm asking is I was going to take it all out, so that when the new cable arrives I can replace the old one and then just slide it in. So it'll probably be out for a couple of days. Thought it would be better to do it in stages rather than at once, just in case I lose patience with it, as it does seem quite fiddly!
Is this the video u used on YouTube?

Yes I think that was the vid I followed.
Regarding the glue, I don't think it will be an issue if the membrane is removed for a couple of days.

Just thought I'd post a picture of this for anyone who has problems getting their one touch window switches working again, as it took a while to find a procedure that reset the system
