Don't know. The roof won't go all the way down first time. You have to put it up a bit, then down. Then up a bit, then down. Until it sits right. Have you encountered this before?

Yes, there are sensors on the hinges. Have you relocated your roof motor by any chance?

i think mine might have this issue now as tonight i thought i would go for a blast, windows go down , light on switch flashes and roof goes down, but only so far ( anything from 1 inch before the bottom or several inches) then it all seems to stop. if you then try to raise the roof nothing happens, if help the roof a bit it will raise all the way and lock off ( well the light goes off on the switch. this happens if you do it off the key, the central switch or the gaptech.

Mine goes up fine. Needs a push to start the opening process. Stops between 20-35mm when opening. It's really pissing me off. May visit BMW to see if they have any input. Or maybe a hydrolic specialist.Zoomer wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2017 9:33 pm i think mine might have this issue now as tonight i thought i would go for a blast, windows go down , light on switch flashes and roof goes down, but only so far ( anything from 1 inch before the bottom or several inches) then it all seems to stop. if you then try to raise the roof nothing happens, if help the roof a bit it will raise all the way and lock off ( well the light goes off on the switch. this happens if you do it off the key, the central switch or the gaptech.

Mike I have done the obvious and removed the microswitch and wedged it so that its s made. The roof does lowers until the last inch or so then stops. It not raise without helping it to start but if you do help it t fully raises and locks. Where are the hall sensors that you mentioned. ( motor is relocated , sadly before you started doing them)
