Fault with my Storm Motorworks V4

Post by idej_z4 » Thu May 25, 2017 7:58 pm

I've found a huge fault with the Storm Motorworks gear shifter and handbrake...it gives you third degree burns when its been sat in the sun! :!:

How are you supposed to drive when you can't touch the shifter??? Thankfully I opted for the version that is leather bound - I guess its driving gloves in the sun for those who have the solid metal pieces. :scratchhead:

I suppose I could always carry a sock for emergencies (sounds like I'm 14 again) ;)

I had a Storm on my e36, for summer and winter I kept a wooly cover over it when I wasn't driving it, made from an old phone case, for a very small phone I'm guessing, but then again I am a southern softie!
Currently zedless :(

The heat is one of the reasons I'd never have a metal gearknob again - and why I don't like dark leather interiors.

This is the last/only time I had a metal gearknob - and it was only on whilst I sourced a genuine 5-speed M one.
