dash lights.. any ideas?

Post by Buckz » Thu Jun 22, 2017 8:54 am

Was parking up my z4c today and I've stalled(no idea how don't ask me) :| restarted the car and now I've got traction control disabled light on and tyre pressure light on ? Any ideas ? They won't go off by pressing the buttons.

Tyres seem fine and no other issues that I can see :headbang:

Try leaving it for a bit and see if it re calibrates itself? Hope it's not the dreaded abs unit. If related to the stall I doubt it though.

Yeah, I've left it parked up will go back to it after work.. I have a feeling that it might be a fuse ? I mean I stalled and then restarted quickly.. could've blown a fuse!

haha, hopefully that's the case! we'll see on the way home, doubt it tho.

I had carly in my glovebox so I read the codes and reset them all which cleared the light until next startup when they came back on again :tumbleweed:

So as an update, it fixed it self as you guys thought it will.. guess the stall confused the ECU and it threw a few lights. After sitting parked up for the day it was fine, 0 issues and no codes on Carly etc. Lucky.

I shall leave a couple of cans of beer more often next to my car ;) Germans will come and fix it over the day.

Sorta, I have got a proper scanner at home.. abs/belt etc including.

Abs pump was replaced a while ago so that should be mint.
