Were you not a little concerned that someone you don't know now has your address and potentially a copy of your car key?

Ben at BM keys has been doing this a while now I wouldn't have thought there is anything to worry about.
You sometimes have to trust people and have faith in people, most people are decent human beings.
Also if it was stolen with a key you would know pretty quickly where to go looking.

So did the £30 include cutting the new blade to suit the old one too?

Are BMKeys still in business ? I've had no reply from two mails.

Does anyone know any other companies who are able to fix keys (broken microswitch) ?

I found one on eBay called the CarKeyKing, but no reviews on this forum.

I’ve used a car key repair company off eBay for £19.99 to refurbish my key. Im told the switches are replaced and a new battery installed. Key returned within 3days and it worked so have to take their word for it. Whilst some have commented about giving your key and address to a stranger, there has to be an element of trust in this otherwise we’d all be using public transport.
Forums are great for recommendations but we all have to make use of a service first before we can recommend it to others!!
