I would be fairly relaxed if the engine wasn't running rough (particularly on acceleration) as if not firing on all 6 cylinders.
I jumped in for the drive home this evening and the problem came immediately upon starting.
I normally run the car on Super Unleaded but am halfway thru my second tank of the ordinary stuff as part of an experiment to see if there is any impact on the MPG. I could imagine this upseting a sensor but wouldn't expect the engine to suffer.
Any thoughts? Should I panic?
Thanks.

Hooked up a code reader and it's Cylinder 2 Misfire.

Coilpack probably failed. Swap cyl 2 with another and see if the misfire moves.

Think they call this 'elimination', coil pack sounds like it to me.

Coil is the first thing to try as it's the easiest item to swap. If the fault moves then replace, if not check contacts clean then next step would be the plug.
