I am planning on doing this how to on Saturday but I have a N52 engine..

What do I need to do differently? The oil filter cap is different? How do I remove it, do I need the special size wrench?

Thanks

Andy

I've also been working on my Charger.. though I'm pretty positive once I get through my Zeds MOT, I'm just gonna put the charger up for sale.
Far too much effort for extremely little gain

(had to fly to the states just to organize shipping a few gearbox internals across... )

If you've changed the oil filter it should be 6.5ltr.

Agree a very good right up but no dip stick found on my 2.5 E85 N52 Engine ? You mention on step 16 :

After a minute, turn off the engine and check the oil level via the dipstick. The first time you check, it should be close to, or just above the minimum mark.
If it is low, carefully add another 0.25 of oil, run the engine for a minute and repeat this step.
It should only take one litre of oil to raise the level from the minimum mark, to the maximum.
The stated oil capacity is 6.5 litres, so if you need to add much more than this, check that the new oil is not leaking from either the sump plug, or the oil filter cover.
Be very carefull and do not overfill the engine with oil, as this can be very damaging. If you DO add too much, unscrew the sump plug slightly and allow some oil to drain.

Any idea where to find it ??

there is no dipstick on the n52 engine, you have an electronic dipstick on the led speedo display instead.
