Aux control through Multifunction Wheel?

Post by Seand411 » Wed Oct 03, 2012 2:57 pm

I've had a quick search around the forum for this not really any clearer .. I've got an iphone4s. Is it possibly to use the aux socket for connection with music and control pod through the wheel I.e skip track and mute? If so what cable do I need or is it something that'll need to be connected at the rear of the stereo?

Not through the aux connection. You need a dedicated adapter module that connects to the CD changer wiring, which is under the centre cubby.

Intravee. Plus alpine KC### something or other. Someone was selling one recently on the forum if you look in the recent buy and sell.

Search intravee and look at some of the older posts- they will exPlain all

You also have the choice of Dension and Dice. Both do iPod adapters for the E85/86.
