Also require info to remove old unit, which the auto dip appears to have separated within the glass to take on the appearance of an oil sandwiched between two lamination's of glass! - 'Need the how to' access the rear of glass to remove ....proves to be a tight one
Is it true the Z4 electric motor which operates the hydraulic pump to lift the soft top, has an inherent problem with water ingress!!!! The motor on my Z4 just stopped?? Although the fuse is OK - have no main motor run ...also appears to be a bit of work to locate the motor for repairs ...I guess it means taking the complete soft top and frame off to access the motor! ---- Any one experience this problem or have the know how on soft top removal?
