Centre Vent - anyone in central london?

Hello!

So, i've been attempting to get the centre vent out for a few months now.....its really not coming out! or i'm doing something wrong.
i've tried all the methods posted on this forum but no avail.

Anyone in central london that can help?

A few months?!?!? Take a break and eat man, you'll be wasting away. No strength left you see, that's your problem.

Incidentally, when I eventually got mine out I broke 2 of the retaining clips. It still seems to sit in there perfectly and now it's much easier to remove! Not that I'm recommending that approach mind and I do have a new vent ready to fit for the next owner! Not that I'm selling her anytime soon!

eek!

see, i dont want to get to the point where i have to buy a spare vent. but i might just have to.

i bought a new satnav screen and its been in my living room since last september......i cant get the vent out!!!!

i have had mine out for the the challenge.. i couldnt even remove the lower cowel on my steering column... but i had no problems removing my vents, within 30 seconds... if you struggle to find anyone i am around in N. london most weekends.
