Remove E85 kidney grille

Post by marypoppins » Thu Jun 06, 2013 12:47 pm

Have seen the BM bulletin with reference to removing these however they seem very reluctant to budge when following the instructions. Any tips as i dont want to break them?

They should just pop out, unless someone's added so additional "fixing"? I just ease mine out from the top left-hand edge, and then work my way round.

This is how I do it. The 'pull' needs to be a decent yank. They won't break

Now you've said that they will break!

I thought the same though when doing mine, just closed my eyes and gave it a good yank and came out fine

+2 lift it up with a reasonable pressure and it shouldn't be too tough to pull out. Certainly not enough to break it. If it doesn't pull, don't force it
