Just getting a 500 litre container. So the Karcher will be in the container pumping the water in the hose with which I will was the car. The container will be fed by a hose from the tap.

As I am on a meter anyway, I don't think they are actually targeting people like me but only people that do not pay for their water consumption (i.e. fixed rate only).

This could be a very profitable income should Scotland get independance. Though they reckon it would be 10 x cheaper to build a de-sal plant. Though having to drink de-sal water is not pleasant, don't care what anyone says, you can taste it, not nice

is that really legal? As in use the hose pipe to fill a big bucket, then another hose pipe to pump it?

Also i recon you could prob get away with washing your car if you live in isolation... And dont have neighbours which will rat you out!

It still beggars belief that we have water shortage problems when we are surrounded by water

Instead of building a high speed rail link, why not use the money and build a couple of desalination plants in the South East

cos we'd need hundreds more windmills to power the plant! Bet the stupid f**kers would build them in the North where there's plenty of water because it was an eyesore and the NIMBY's complained
