TWG Automotive Camberley

Post by Ed Doe » Fri Aug 29, 2014 12:49 pm

Meant to do this last week; I had my 3.0si in for an inspection 2 and clutch delay valve removal.

The whole experience was very pleasant; they were reasonably priced, professional, and provided a full breakdown of the inspection (i'll try and post the photos of this up later).

They also undertook the CDV removal, which has improved the feel of the clutch pedal no end!

I'll be taking my car there again in Oct for my MOT, but for anyone in the area looking for a good BMW specialist Indy, TWG Camberley are definitely worth a ring.

Another plus 1 for TWG. Had my M in there for a few jobs, very professional and Will is a knowledgable guy (and friendly!). Deffo take my car there for work in future, them and Redish are both top of my garage list at the moment.
By the way Ed was that your black Coupe outside on Tuesday morning by any chance, looking good!

It wasn't me I'm afraid Andy :( Although I do live in hope of being spotted by a fellow forum member at some point!

When I was speaking to Will, he did say a fair few members had been in touch in recent months; maybe we could twist his arm for a forum discount?? :P

I have used them for two year Will and the others are great. Never had a problem.

I'm in there tomorrow to have my front springs fitted, and then the following weekend for a service. I might see if they can do the CDV whilst doing the brake fluid change. I'm pleased to see they come highly recommended.

I've seen Will about 4 times over the course of this year - Bilstein B12s, powerflex RTABs, ARB bushes front and rear and Lollipop bushes, tracking, Oil Service, Gearbox oil & MOT.

And next month I've got it booked in for new brakes!it's dangerous having TWG so close to my work now - it's way too easy to get stuff done!

Another happy TWG customer. I’ve had my Inspection II carried out last month on my Z4M. I had the valve clearance sheet provided – 5 shims replaced on my engine. Also got the brake fluid service done and the clutch delay valve removed while the brake fluid was drained. I was also pleased that they changed some car key memory settings at no cost.

I was fortunate enough to book my car in prior to Will raising their prices (first rise for 2+ years apparently) which was upheld. The customer service was fine, although they’re so busy they seem to struggle with keeping everyone updated – I had to call up to find out the progress to get an idea on when I’d be able to pick the car up.

Having the CDV removed (only £15 as the brake fluid was being replaced) has made a distinct difference especially when changing between first and second :driving: . I was also pleased to be reassured on how well the car runs :D .

I too can say good things about TWG, recently had an Oil Service, RTAB's and 4 wheel alignment. Seemed very knowledgeable and I'll be happy to use them again.

Can't recommend them highly enough!

Did my front control arm bushes on the Z4C in May 2015 and my water pump and thermostat last month.

Also took my 325ti there for a cooling system refresh earlier last year then a service last December.

As Ed Doe says it's easy to become a serial customer! (I live about 2 miles up the road)!
Coupes because stunning!

+1 - I had an Oil Service at the beginning of Feb. Will is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are expanding and advised they are having a custom mezzanine built in the workshop soon.

Its always a good sign at a specialist when the cars parked in the employees section are only BMW. A few Z4's too! :D
