hi john, your car looks lovely and I think the grey with red leather is really nice, I do however think you are being quite optimistic with your valuation, I went to see this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-2-5i-2006-06-reg-Si-Sport-Roadster-/271176455693?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f2360560d

like yours in great condition similar miles and has been up for sale for about 2 months so isnt under priced. Good luck with the sale and no offence meant just thought you may appreciate thoughts on the price, all the best. Others may disagree in which case all the better for you! cheers liam

After speaking to a few guys we have reviewed the asking price which is now £8750 ONO. Id rather sell it to someone on here in the first instance as we want her to go to a good home :(

Almost identical to mine - should make an awesome first Z4 for somebody. Good move on the price too... I paid close to your original asking price last year and that was for a car with over 10k less on the clock and 1 year dealer warranty. GLWTS. :)

The eBay one is only a 2.5i though, so not the same spec, but price maybe a little optimistic.

Price now reduced to £8400. I want to send this to a good home but it is now on Auto Trader and will be shortly on Ebay. Im sure for the price that is a good buy. I really don't want to let her go for much less :(

If anyone is interested please contact me.

Edit you first post as it still shows your original price. Some may see that and stop looking any further.

Also worth saying what plate it was originally on, and maybe listing the service schedule ?

Show patience 8) i always figure up to 6 weeks to sell a car private during which time you will have the usual messers , timewasters & general idiots who want the car but don't have the coin
stick with it :)

Another bump! Surely this is a good price for the car. I really cannot reduce the price any further :(

The price you will get is a combination of patience and market. Given you're bumping the ad every 48hours or so, then I'd say you're losing patience. Price may therefore be against you, especially on a forum with mainly owners here.

See what happens on AT and EBay, but be realistic if it has to go quickly as I see so many sellers refuse offers only to find later that they are relisting for less than had been offered..

Cheers for your advice guys, your correct regarding my patience. I think its more a case of Im gutted to have to get rid of the car and Im thinking of it more as removing a plaster (nice and quick) the longer I keep hold of the car the harder it gets to sell it.

P.S this is not an impromptu bump :fuelfire:
