how about now???

Hi Guys

I am thinking about selling my Z, i have loved having it but due to a change in circumstances (Yes a girl and a house!) i am looking to sell. I am not really in a huge rush i was thinking about doing it after july when i put a full MOT on it but wanted to know if anyone would be interested before this.

2003 2.5 Z4
75000 Miles
Silver With Hardtop

MOT till July Tax till August

Everything on it works the body work is ok some very minor scrathces which will polish out one of the wheels is scuffed.
Its has had in the last year;
New Clutch
New FlyWheel
New Rear Tyres
New MAF Sensor
New clutch master/slave cylinder

I was going to be looking at £5500-6000 but i know there are some things which need doing so will take £5250 and am open to sensible offers.

Things that i kow need doing are;
Front bushes
Interior needs tidying up no tears or anything broken just some marks on the alloy trim and seats needs polishing/dyin around the bolsters.
Probably a new battery soon
One alloy refurbed

Let me know if your interested it would probaly be a bit of a project which i was thinking about doing to get it back to mint but its a great place to start as not a lot needs doing and i have priced it accordingly.

I am based near Birmingham.

Good price good looking car. GLWTS

Shame it has to go. I did the same a few years back with a TT. Nice cars are possible after a few years after buying a house

Sell ur hardtop privately and ill get a bit more monies as a whole

If it was silver grey I'd bite ur hand off

+1
I sold mine separately and got over £900 and that was for a Bright Red one which is not a very common colour,so worth considering GLWTS.

GLWTS. Sounds like you have spent a lot on it recently, would people say he's had bad luck or are most of those parts acceptable at this mileage? Thanks. Liam

Hi Liam

I luckily have a friend that works for BMW in Leamington that has done all of the work for me the only expensive part was the Fly Wheel then obviously when having that done you might as well get the clutch done at the same time but other than that the other parts and work havent been too bad. In terms of the clutch cylinders there was air getting in the system so thought it best to change both and now it seems fine.

I have been told the flywheel is a common problem on all BMW's of this age by my mate he says he changes loads of them.

Hi

The car looks great.

Do you have any pictures of the interior?

What is the condition of the soft top? - Any idea on how much the bushes will cost?

Thanks
Andy

Hi Guys

This car will be having 12 months MOT put onto it within the nexxt week the same price will be £4500 without the hardtop or offers above that with the hardtop. Please let me know if you are interested.

Cheers

Andy

Have you considered offering the aero-kit as a swap option? (I.e if somebody has a silver zed they could swap their standard parts for yours?).

I know this doesn't help to sell your car, but you're likely to get at least £300 for the skirts, and probably the same for the bumper. Also, many buyers may assume that the Aero-kit is an after-market non BMW kit, which could put off some buyers - Your car may sell quicker with standard bumpers.

I'm not interested in buying the parts, but I just thought I'd offer you a different viewpoint.

Good luck with the sale,

Andrew.
