Looks like a lovely example, great spec especially with the m-seats. My only criticism is that I think you'll put off a lot of buyers if the roof isn't working as intended, have you thought about fixing this yourself?

Andrew.

Thanks Andrew.

I may have to if nobody bites - I just don't have the energy to do it, but do feel it's priced for somebody who does!

Ditto. Can imagine if I was looking, reading down the ad, ticking lots of boxes, all good, then get to the bottom. Oh.... And probably moving on to one that works.

It does look lovely, good mileage for it's age, and just having had an inspection 2 done there's almost 30k miles to the next inspection with a cheap oil service halfway to that - good luck

To be fair though, you need to be clear about the costs of fixing the roof - the motor and a new housing is approx £350. If you do it yourself labour is free obviously, but you could be looking at almost the same again if you get a decent Indy to do it. I guess if you are prepared to negotiate on price round that point then you'll sell quickly, especially at this time of year.

Thanks for useful comments all.

Any recommendations for a good indy in London / SE? And a view on price if you've used them?

That's one of the highest spec pre-facelifts I've ever seen. Strong money for the mileage though, so a fully working roof is a must.

If you're a bit handy, and I do mean only a bit, I'd gladly donate a day of my time for some beer money and take it out with you, see if we can get the existing motor working and put it all back.

Going to stop hijacking this in a sec, but my brakes seem to need an overhaul... I'd love to learn how to do it, just petrified I'd feck it up. Any contribution on this thread gratefully received

So the car has sold. Happy buyer, sad seller. But a fair deal and no hassle. Standby for the new purchase, which I'm very excited about...
