What's the colour of that leather? It's not champagne and it doesn't look stone or whatever it's called. I think he'll get about what he paid for it, no harm in trying to aim high with the price though I guess.

It looks like champagne that's been soaked.

These newer painted leathers don't respond well to leather treatments as you're just putting oil/wax onto the paint/lacquer and are not 'feeding' the underlying leather at all. The oil/wax also sucks up dirt more than the paint/lacquer. I just use some mild interior shampoo with a damp cloth.

:x From what I remember when the car was last up on E Bay, the owner was disabled !! and the leather was 'Sepang Bronze' :x

I've seen 'Light Sepang' interior, but never 'Sepang Bronze'.

:D Further to my previous post, it is a very early car, possibly the second imported into UK, and the upholstery is called 'Sepang Bronze' :D

I tell a lie, because I have seen Sepang Bronze leather, just not in a Z4M (it was in an M6), and it is mid-brown not light brown.

Sepang Bronze H = Sepang Bronze Hell = Sepang Bronze Light (hell is light in german) = Light Sepang (Bronze).

It was also prepared as a press vehicle. Some say these will have been ragged to death on one hand, but hand-picked to be the best of the batch to give the best impression to the journo's.

However, if it was registered early enough, then it will qualify for the much cheaper rate of VED!

 No, considered it last time, but as it is 'poverty spec' decided against it, but at £8,700 [with the private plate] it was, in my view, not a bad buy. Would be interested to know why it is being sold after only six months or so.

Up for sale again, was up for £12,250 last Christmas by same guy

Always makes me smile when you check the car out from idle curiosity and see it's failed its MOT 4 times.
Tells me something about how a car is cared for that this can happen so often. All simple - broken spring, several tyre issues with cuts and worn out, light alignment, bulbs out, etc.

Not 100% sure but I think this might be the infamous 'CatD-Gate' car up for sale two years ago with 30k miles, on that occasion a relative newbie posted a glamorous ad' at a stupendously low price but fought shy of mentioning it's actual Cat D status. After he was smoked out and a bit of a rumpus later he finally amended his ad' clearly owning up to it's Cat D status asking £11.5k so there might be room for manoeuvre if that was the price then.

Unlike this guy of course who's completely up-front, it looks nice. 8)
