2004 3.0SE 30k miles Sterling Grey (SOLD)

Post by gov » Thu Feb 23, 2017 6:48 pm

Very reluctant sale but lack of use and space means my zed is up for sale again - pristine condition , very good spec with exceptional low miles - owned for 4 years - ashamed to say have covered less than 2k miles in my ownership - bought from the original owner and garaged all it's life.

The car is totally original and unmarked inside and out with original coachwork/paint that is free of any dings/scrapes/scratches etc - I had the 108's fully refurbed and are free of any curbing/scratches - the tyres are matching Bridgestone RFT's and virtually as new. I have a comprehensive file containing all old MOT's , Full service record and receipts including the original invoice along with the two keys and plastic emergency key.

Spec includes Zenons , M seats ,Prof Nav , Buetooth , 108's and an OEM windbreak

Service record :

1st registered 29th May 2004
pre delivery check 28/5/04 westerly bmw yeovil
oil service 25/04/06 westerly yeovil 14066 miles
inspection 1 /5/09 westerly yeovil 23344 miles
oil service 19/12/12 westerly yeovil 28312 miles
oil service 1/4/15 calborne garage specialist 29314

brake fluid changes 11/10/06 17196 miles
1/5/09 23344 miles
19/12/12 28312 miles
1/4/15 29314 miles

All Mot's present and sequential in mileage

Last Mot 3 weeks ago - no advisories

Rear springs replaced in last 12 months

£6500 - price reflects mileage and condition - you won't find similar advertised anywhere.

Most of you are aware I live on the IOW - anyone who is interested and wants to view I will meet off the ferry and bring you to my home to view in comfort and privacy ( plus coffee ) - the car is exactly as described and you won't be disappointed.

Personal plate not included - in process of transferring to original plate.

Not really but I could do with the space - and as I said in my recent post if it sells at least it will be off the Island and I won't have to see it - I really hope someone buys it who will appreciate how unique it is in condition and mileage and uses it more than I ever did :)

Hi Gov

I have a really nice guy I work with after a z4 I have told him about this. I will speak to him today and I will PM you if he is interested.

Mat
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Probably best to clarify a couple of points - the car has not had an Inspection 2 ( my understanding and that of BMW ) is that Inspection 2 is mileage related and wouldn't be due until at least 40k miles - oil/ brake fluid change was done about 800 miles ago so on a time related basis would be due an oil change ( coming up 2 years )

I priced the car accordingly for what I consider it is worth based on condition , originality ,spec and mileage backed up with the provenance - I am aware that words used such as pristine and immaculate have differing interpretations from sellers - I can only say once again the car is exactly as I have described. I very much doubt you will find a comparable car - certainly there is nothing advertised nationally .

Might be I've shot myself in the foot by saying this but I've always been upfront .
