Does anyone recognise this Z4C?
Hi all,
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 1040993768
I took a visit to this car today, 4:30 and no one was in. Typical!
Anyway, it was outside so I had a look around and I do really like the colour and know how rare they are. It's been around for sale for a few months now but online people say to stay away from the garage.
Has anyone delt with the garage before or know of the car?
Any comments appreciated.
Happy weekend!
Joe

The link works for me.
I don't remember seeing this Zed before. Certainly there are not so many in that colour. Car looks good from the pictures. Cannot help with the reputation of the garage.
Good luck!

We discussed this one back in January in the Z4C Market Watch thread. Search for LF68369 and you will find the posts.
There is something wrong with this car. It was built with Sat Nav, and it no longer has it. No one seems to know why, but it is a worrying change as it involves new dashboard and much electricals to do this, Why ?

Check out the MOT history, it's had a couple of fails and plenty of advisories, worth asking the garage if the history shows the work done.
Were you expected for the viewing or did you just turn up on the off chance.

The mot history doesn't come up online when you go on the gov mot website. I was just passing and hoped that they would be open at half 4 on a Saturday. But apparently not!firebobby wrote:Check out the MOT history, it's had a couple of fails and plenty of advisories, worth asking the garage if the history shows the work done.

We researched this one. Think we searched by colour. It was sold at auction last year. Think it was sold for about £8000.

Sounds like there may be some issues with this car from what others have said.
Mind you if the OP really wants Phoenix Yellow he may have a long wait for another one - the list Taz posted some time ago suggests only 16 Sport Coupes in that colour were registered in the UK!

The failures seem to be pretty legit to me. I might give them a ring and have a chat but I'm feeling with the damages and the odd nav not lining up. The feeling is to stay away as I have done up until now! Being in the area tempted me today.
Thanks all

I used to own a 2.8 z3 and I've test drive a silver 60k sport model that was for sale in December. Loved it, but I'm keen to try and hang onto it and from the look of the market atm, lots of the high milers are hanging around. I like a low mileage <60k, but budgets sometimes don't allow! I know mileage isn't everything, my z3 was 80+ but I'd like to keep it low if possible for potential appreciation.firebobby wrote:Doesn't hurt to look, have you been in a Z4 yet ?Joemarsh wrote:Thanks! There's a couple I've got my eye on, but I'm happy to wait for the right car to come along.
