Just curious but is that the "pensionR" elise.......don't see many in white?
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully it will find a new home soon.

You are indeed correct, that's Tut's Elise.
Thought it might be,with you being Aberdeen/shire......it was down in Edinburgh with Craig when I was there a couple of weeks ago....still looks presentable :D

Jamie,

I see you have done a lot of changes to the suspension, was the aim related to improving road handling or for track use? Please could you outline the results?

Regards
Alan

2007 (01/03/07 registered) Z4M Roadster finished in Imola Red

Very well specced, maintained and looked after example.

I’ve owned the car since May 2013. It has had 4 owners, 2 of these I believe were dealers. It has currently covered just over 57,000 miles. It will come with a fresh MOT.

Service History is as follows:
• Registered 01/03/2007
• Running in Service at Halliwell Jones BMW – 27/03/2007 @ 1094 Miles
• Oil Service at Halliwell Jones BMW – 16/07/2008 @ 14,780 Miles
• Inspection I at Vulcan Motor Company (BMW Specialist) – 19/06/2012 @ 28,238 Miles
• Oil Service at AW Autotech (BMW Specialist) – 20/05/2013 @ 32,128 Miles
• Oil Service at AW Autotech (BMW Specialist) – 16/10/2013 @ 38,409 Miles
• Inspection II at Premier Motors (BMW Specialist) – 07/08/2014 @ 44,705 Miles
• Oil Service at Premier Motors (BMW Specialist) – 01/04/2015 @ 49,788 Miles
• Oil Service at Premier Motors (BMW Specialist) – 12/02/2016 @ 53,117 Miles

It has Black leather, electric/memory adjustable heated seats, Sat nav, cupholders, Bluetooth prep, the 10 speaker loud speaker system with subs behind the seats, rear PDC, extended storage pack and carbon leather trim. It has a ZHP Gear knob also. I had the steering wheel reburbished by Royals in Alcantara with a red TDC stripe and M tricolour stitching. It's a lovely steering wheel.

The car has the following modifications;

KW Clubsport suspension with camber adjustable top mounts
Front adjustable drop links
Stromung Exhaust system
AFE Air Intake
Vibra-technic Engine Mounts
Rogue rear top mounts
Rogue rear trailing arm bearing limiters (New OEM RTAB fitted at same time)
CA Wheel Stud conversion
18" Zito "CSL" Alloys, 9.5" Rear, 8.5" front. Tyres are 265/40/18 on the rear and 235/35/18s on the front. Goodyear F1 ASYM 2s all round. Only been on the car for a year or so and done maybe, 3-4k tops. So plenty of life in them. The wheels are in excellent condition, the only marks on them are a couple of tiny stone chips and some marks inside the wheel bolt holes from sockets used when removing the wheels.

All parts were bought brand new by myself and were fitted by myself or the BMW specialist that I use.

Maintenance wise, the car has been looked after with zero expense spared. It's had new TPS sensors, new throttle actuator, new brake calipers. The car had new disks and pads (EBC Bluestuff NDX) 5-6k miles ago, perhaps less. The roof motor has also been removed, refurbished and resealed.

The bodywork is in very good condition other than some stone chips to the front bumper and bonnet which i guess is to expected on a car which celebrated it's 10th Birthday a few weeks ago. The car also benefits from having a full paint correction and Gtechniq platinum package and finished in EXO V2 (which was renewed late last year). All work done by Ultimate Shine Autos in Stirling and the 5 year warranty is tranferred with the car.

The car has also had several Geo setups carried out, with printouts, to fine tune how the car handles. It handles superbly now.

No previous accident damage and full HPi clear. All wishbones etc still have the original factory stickers. Still has the factory windscreen with running in stickers in place.

I have an A4 ring binder full of history and receipts. This is a truely lovely example and in my opinion has all the right parts which make a massive difference to the drive over standard. It's an absolutely joy to drive on our Scottish roads. I do have all of the standard parts still so it can be reverted back to standard with reletive ease.

£16,500 as the car sits. Price can be negotiated if certain parts are not wanted etc. Private plate is not included.

Thanks,
Jamie

I feel your pain - I've managed to avoid selling mine for our wedding in May next year. Good luck with the sale and all the best for the big day!

If you don't need the car as a daily it might be worth sorting out a SOR with a dealer somewhere in middle England.

I'd imagine being in Ayrshire that it will seriously reduce the market appeal....

No the car isn't a daily, it's tucked away in the garage.

I'm actually in Aberdeen. With a lack of Z's on the market, I'm sure any serious buyer will know they need to be prepared to travel. You can fly to Aberdeen with most low cost carriers for peanuts nowadays so I don't think it should put too many people off. Time will tell I guess.
07 Imola Red ///M Roadster, fully loaded spec, KW Clubsports, Rogue Rear Top Mounts, Vibratech Engine Mounts, Stromung Exhaust & AFE Intake. Heavenly!

Haha , resistance is futile

The M is not as easy to live with day to day,due to the longer time it takes to warm up,etc.....But it's so rewarding in its capabilities, and extra performance/grip in corners etc than the rest of the range.

Never regretted buying mine over an e89 35i for a minute :driving: :D

As long as you allow for higher service costs,it's all good :)
