E85 Z4 with Hard top **Deposit taken**

Post by Gordo-B » Tue May 30, 2017 1:56 pm

Hi all,

The time has come for me to sell my 93000 mile E85 2.5i manual in Sterling Grey Z4 as now need something with four seats.

Ive owned her for the last four years and must say has been the best car I've ever owned. Bought as a stock car in April 2013, since then Ive used it as daily driver (mostly motorway miles) and its been garaged at night. Ive done a few tastefully mods:

-Full Koni sport adjustable shocks with H&R progressive 30mm lowered springs (fitted this year)
-Poly bushes on most major suspension mounts
-18" staggered Riva DTM forged alloys T.U.V approved wrapped in Khumo KU39 sport tyres (good tread all round)
-Custom built stainless rear exhaust (sporty sound, but not overly loud and with no drone)
-Upgraded brakes to the 3.0si 325mm front and 300mm rear with EBC vented, drilled and grooved sport discs and EBC red stuff pads, all less than two years 20000 miles old with plenty of life.
-BMW M strut brace bought brand new from BMW.
- AFE full intake system (currently stock on the car but will be included in the sale)
- Carbon mirror covers
- Seat cuppa splitter
-Real carbon badges.
-Black front grill.

The standard upgraded options on the car include: heated leather seats, cruise control, walnut dash with black interior, and parking sensors.
The car has been maintained regardless of cost and is only ever filled with Shell V power, with fluids being Castrol 0-30W fully synthetic oil, Castrol React Dot 4 brake fluid and BMW OEM blue coolant. All levels are checked on a weekly basis and roof drains checked and cleared on a monthly basis, roof is in perfect working order. Car has been fully serviced with receipts to prove work done. The majority of the history has been carried out by independent garages, some BMW early in the cars life and of the last few years. I have carried out servicing with my friend (fully trained mechanic.) For all services I have performed I have full receipts of fluids ect purchased and any items required for M.O.T.
Car has 12 Months M.O.T

Price
£2900 excluding Roof
£3500 including Roof and cover (please don't contact me looking to purchase the roof without car, want to give new owner the option)

Good luck with the sale Gordo - looks like a really well sorted car. Don't want to deflect your For Sale thread, but how have you found the Konis when compared to stock?
Now Gone - 2008 Coupe, Montego Blue, Champagne leather and Piano Black interior, Eibachs & Koni Sport shocks, Style 230 19s, Eisenmann Quad - approaching perfection...

Thanks Morlan and z4pilot it really is a beautiful car and I will be really sad to see it go

The Koni and H&R are a fantastic upgrade and something I would recommend. A bit firmer than stock, but not a major difference when compared to stock Due to them being a progressive spring. Really sharpen up the ride and steering feel is a lot more positive 👍🏻

Surprised no one has snapped your car up yet. Wish I had space for another Zed. Also surprised your not selling the roof separately. Nice sentiment to keep them together. But I would suggest you make more with a separate sale, as most buyers simply see 2.5 Z4 roadster with x miles on it and the hard top is a bonus they don't wish to pay for. Were others would pay good money just for a hard top, as they see the benefits. :)
