I wanted to edit this thread as the car is now FOR SALE. I have updated the details and have included more images all taken today. It's a great car and would love to sell it to a forum member. I have been a member of the forum since buying my Z4 coupe just over two-and-a-half years ago, but thankfully much of my time has been spent driving the car and not having to ask too many questions on here! Thanks for being a great forum. Not sure what to buy next - perhaps a Porsche or an old SL.

Car condition is completely subjective but I have always classed my car as a very 'clean' example with only a few stone chips on the front, and great shiny 'Silbergrau Metallic' paintwork all over. The car has been regularly washed and cared for and it is extremely clean on the inside and has always stayed undercover, not on the street. Speaking of the inside it does have what seems to be a rare interior, being black sports seats with Silverstone trim and a two-tone leather dashboard in very close to showroom condition. It has been very much cared for both before my taking delivery of it and during my ownership. It received replacement rear springs prior to my ownership. It had its 'Inspection 2' in October 2016 and according to the clock won't need another service for 11000 miles and that will be an 'oil service' only. It went on one track day (Silverstone National) during my ownership but that was a 20 minute taster session with an instructor. Since then I bought a Puma for track day use. It effortlessly took me to Le Mans twice, Toulouse and Barcelona without missing a beat. It has always been run on premium fuel, generally V-Power. As mentioned on the V5 I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. The V5 is of course registered to my home address and you are free to perform HPI checks which will yield nothing unexpected.

Full BMW and BMW specialist service history. Stamps in the logbook as required. 4 x Michelin 'Pilot Sport 3' tyres with equal wear around the 4mm mark so expect some tyre changes in the coming 12/18 months depending on how it is driven ( I have found it to be quite gentle on tyres). Worn front wishbone bushes were highlighted on the last MOT as an advisory and these were rectified with replacements at a BMW specialist. To be clear any advisories on the MOT history have been addressed.

There are very few negatives and the first two of these will be addressed before the buyer takes the car. I need to receive and fit a new cup holder on the drivers side as the current one sticks open. I need to receive and fit a passenger-side seatbelt guide - the one attached to the top of the sports seat, as it was broken upon purchase. If I were keeping the car I would have the wheels renovated, especially the front 2 which have had a few run ins with London kerbs. Finally there is a small sign of wear on the drivers bolster but it is not large nor noticeable but I do wish to present the car as honestly as possible. There is a small paint imperfection on the top of one wing which has been treated prior to my taking receipt of the car - photo included. MOT history reveals, quite correctly, a 2 month period when the car did not have an MOT. Due to work I was not around at that time and the car sat unused - it was NOT run without an MOT and as soon as I returned the car went in and passed.

Replacement front brake caliper and hoses in the past month (seal went) and I shall write down the spec below from when I bought it from a dealer (Driftbridge) in Croydon. Completely new passenger-side electric mechanism supplied by the dealer upon purchase. Sorry if some of these are obvious/standard but I suspect some of you know far more about the possible specs than I do and my guess is most of these are standard.

2007 3.0 Si Sport
78450 miles - This will increase a little over the coming weeks as my girlfriend uses the car every fortnight and I plan a trip to Lincolnshire in the coming 3 weeks. It should stay below 79k before being sold.
MOT to end of 2017
Individual Bi-colour leather trim
Auto-dim mirror
Electric front seats with memory
Anthracite roof-lining
Headlamp washer system
Smokers package (never used)
Rain Sensor & Auto light package
Xenon headlamps
Aircon
Business Stereo System with Bluetooth preparation
M-Sport Suspension, Steering wheel & wheels
Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres all round
Parking distance sensors
Full BMW or BMW specialist service history
Front discs and pads and rear pads replaced within last 12 months (just prior to Le Mans 2016). NOTE: I currently cannot locate the receipt for the front discs and pads and will search it out however a touch of the discs with your finger reveals how little wear there is.

£9000

Images below. Please bear in mind I am not a dealer nor do I have that much experience of selling cars but I will endeavour to answer any questions best I can. I am located near Woolwich and Greenwich. Doubtless I missed a few important details so please do get in touch if you need anything more.

Thanks for reading and happy Z4-ing.

Nice car lovely interior too and pretty rare. I have had both a 911 a C4S and and old merc a 1986 300sl, both cars are lovely but have their problems. If you want a pre 1986 sl be very careful as they do rust a lot more than the post 86 galvanised ones, and watch out for the 911 IMS bearing and bore wear. Good luck with the sale

Well that didn't hang about. First to see bought - a forum member too.

Up to him if he wishes to add anything but thanks to this forum for providing such a great genuine buyer who I am sure will have great times with the car.

Best wishes to all and if I return to the Z4 fold I will let you know!
