Great looking car James - made me think about putting MV2's on mine. I recently purchased my car in exactly the same colour however, it has the amarone interior a black piano dash. For me the stumbling point may be the light interior, I'd suggest it's "marmite"

As a say though, still a stunning car! GLWS

That's a shame OP, yours looks like a good example and very sensibly priced - especially now!

I hope you find a buyer soon!

FWIW I sold my first Coupe through this forum, and found it's replacement on Pistonheads! But I wouldn't rule out AutoTrader - I sold my 123d on that (eventually).

Good luck.
Coupes because stunning!

Hi James - I can see you've advertised the car on Pistonheads now. It looks great too.

Just an observation though re the apparent lack of interest, there is a very similar *car on PH being sold at a Car Dealer for £6245 inc warranty (*I know yours has a few less miles on it)

I guess the key point is that if Joe Public looking for a Z4 had to choose between 2 similar cars & both were priced similarly they'd prob be tempted to look at the Car Dealer as they will have a warranty & increased consumer rights to fall back on.Im sure your car is the better car etc...but its something to consider

As an FYI - I recently sold my Boxster and have very little interest initially and I had to heavily drop the price to generate interest, once someone viewed/inspected my car they bought it there & then (as Im sure will be the case with your car)

Cheers Mickemo,

I saw this one too, but it doesn't really compare as:

- It doesn't have rear parking sensors
- or a MFSW
- or cruise control
- or heated seats
- or factory BT
- or cup holders
- it doesn't have full history
- it has done 21k miles more
- it hasn't had the roof motor relocated or WP replaced
- it has a worn drivers seat side bolster

I agree that the light leather on mine may be marmite and that this one is likely to come with a warranty and has had the wheels refurbed, but in comparison mine looks like great value (unless price is the only driver).

Ill wait and see what happens. If I don't get near to the asking price then I will keep it - it is far too good to let go for basic spec money.

Fingers crossed.

Cheers, James

You asked for feedback so I was being open & honest with you in that even in peak open top buying season you may need to reassess your starting price....the phone not ringing tells you that its priced too high

Re spec differences that is fair comment...I did say Joe Public who prob wouldn't notice some of those extras.

I also think that a lot of people will value the warranty and at least £250 pound in their back account too.
